This past has been a whiiiiiiiirl wind and a lot happened. I don’t wanna bore you with an intro per se so let’s just get to it straight 🙂
Shop the Look
Flowers teach hope and patience. Flowers teach tenderness. Flowers teach futility and amazement. You know me, I am always willing to learn. Besides, it is spring. The beautiful forces of nature refuse to remain silent and I feel like observing everything.Katherine Mansfield, from a letter to J. M. Murry written c. April 1922

I will be doing a spring haul this week, as I plan on going shopping tomorrow and hoping to have a video for this ready for Thursday as was the original schedule – yay!
I am so tired of the winter layers that I cannot wait to update my wardrobe and get inspired for new looks. As many of you already know most of my outfits are made at home by my mother and moderately designed by yours truly – it’s kind of a collaboration. However, my mom needs to take a little break from that as she is gearing up for the opening of our shop later this season and so I decided to just curate some pieces myself for the blog and let her focus on the collection for Orion.
This means there will be loads of shopping, something I haven’t done in whiiiile, so I am excited and kind of feel giddy to be curating again after so long. The new thing this time would be to seek for pieces that are more sustainable and green as that is something I refuse to compromise on. Also, since I tackled the issue by having my mom make my clothes, I feel a little challenged as to where to begin considering I haven’t really delved into brands that are green and sustainable.
So, I guess what I am getting at is, its going to be an adventure and I will be taking you along with me as I research and curate pieces this week as well as the coming ones.
In conclusion, the theme in terms of looks and style is going to be sustainable fashion. Expect posts to be mainly about my search for sustainable pieces, brands that I find, the typical trial and error journey into finding my way through the sustainable fashion world and the likes.
I am actually excited for this one!
So, umm… I am kind of embarrassed to admit it but I haven’t yet finished last week’s read, mainly thanks to the hectic schedule I had.
Thus, this week’s read continues to be the same. I will be writing a review on it hopefully by the end of this week or the next so stay tuned for that 🙂
The bedroom is coming along great. I have been documenting the journey pretty nicely so I am hoping to have it released by next week. Like I mentioned in the recap above, I received the rack way ahead of time and it is all assembled and placed in the room. I now need to get a few floating shelves from ikea and mount them up. I also need to shop for plants and bit of decor. I have already bought all of the new furniture for the room. I am just waiting on a shelving unit to be delivered and have to build the frame for the bed. I also need to deal with the old furniture and arrange the new ones in the room. Basically, I have a lot of work cut out for me this week!
I will be doing a little bit of an inspiration post for the room this week before I reveal the end project next week – eeck, so so excited for this!
I will also be doing a before and after, so stay tuned yawl!
As I mentioned in the recap, I have been busy creating a content master plan that fool proof and aligns with the new brand. To prove to myself that I am serious I even got myself a content calendar – yay! I have planned out the coming weeks so I do not fall of the wagon ever again. As it is Spring I want to really focus on the bubbly aspect of it, think pinks, yellows, and a whole lot of blooms. I will be doing a lot of hauls and IGTV videos, short and sweet.
I plan on doing some skincare routines, clothing hauls, room decor, eatery, and a ton of discoveries in the Halton Region.
Exciting, exciting, exciting!
So stay tuned my love bugs and for reading up till the end, you a real champ my friend 😉
